Mike is a highly experienced insurance professional with over 40 years’ experience. His career began as an underwriter (RSA in Newcastle and London) before he moved to insurance broking in London where he held roles at Aon, Willis and most recently PIB, working closely with clients and professionals in the UK Real Estate Development and Construction sectors. With a focus on protecting construction assets, legal liabilities, and financial risks, he had responsibility for providing bespoke project specific insurance solution options such as Project Insurance/Owner Co-ordinated Insurance Programmes (OCIP), and Latent Defects Insurance/Housing Warranties

A regular at property construction events (especially MIPIM), Mike enjoys attending seminars and hosting/speaking at CPD seminars, and sharing his knowledge and experience.

Mike is responsible for leading our broker distribution channel. His focus will be to build on the strength of existing commercial relationships in our well established broker base. By leveraging his expertise and well-established commercial relationships, he will also further strengthen partnerships, whilst also delivering business growth from new broker partnerships and collaborations.
